I'm having trouble uploading my images...can you help?

When will I receive my order?

For our crib size Sherpa Blanket it usually takes 2 business days from the time we get your order or from your proof approval if requested, to make the product and then add shipping time.

For the majority of products, it normally takes 2-5 business days from the day we receive the order to the day it is shipped. (extra time required during the holiday season). Please make sure your email account is accepting mail from Laura myfamilykeeps@gmail.com.

Many times, we try to correspond with a customer and our email gets lost in a spam filter. If that happens it can possibly delay your order.

Do you offer EXPRESS Shipping for crib size blankets?

Yes, we do in the US only. This express service allows a 3-to-4- business day delivery time frame from the moment your order is placed or the proof has been approved by you. Its costs will be clearly marked when you place your order.

What about shipping?

Shipping Cost: We offer FREE shipping to the Continental USA on orders over $45.00 USD.Yes, we do ship to Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico as well as APO and FPO but there is a charge for shipping.
We cannot guarantee when an order will arrive. Consider any shipping or transit time offered to you by MyFamilyKeeps.com only as an estimate. We encourage you to order in a timely fashion to avoid delays caused by shipping or product availability.
 

How do I track my order?

When your order is being shipped, we will send you an email with a tracking number. Please email us if you don’t receive it as sometimes it will go to your junk mail.

Do you ship Internationally?

We do ship internationally to many countries. We will not guarantee nor refund any products going out of the country if they are not received since we have no control over the shipping.

It says my package was delivered but i did not get it?

When the tracking for your package is updated as "delivered" by the postal carrier, it usually triggers an automatic email from us to let you know about this new status. 

Sometimes, a package will be marked as delivered by the shipping carrier prematurely. If you receive the delivery email but have not received your package, here is what we suggest

DOMESTIC CUSTOMERS: 

  • USPS delivery vehicles use GPS that can automatically update a package as "delivered" prematurely. Please wait another business day, as the package could have been marked as delivered by mistake, and will arrive the following day.
  • Contact your local USPS post office. Make sure you contact your LOCAL post office, and not the USPS hotline. Your local post office will be able to provide quicker, and better service. Ask who delivered the package, and ask for the details of that day's delivery. USPS is used to these questions, and will generally provide helpful information.
  • If the package still does not show up, please call USPS to file a claim. My Family Keeps cannot reimburse OR re-ship orders that were mis-delivered by the post office or stolen from a property. Thank you for understanding!

 

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS: 

  • Check your door/mailbox for note from your local post office. If you receive a note, it should provide you with the instructions you need to receive your package. 
  • Contact your local post office and your local customs office. Ask who delivered the package, and ask for the details of that day's delivery. Postal services are used to these questions, and will generally provide helpful information.
  • Contact us for additional assistance. My Family Keeps cannot reimburse OR re-ship orders that were mis-delivered by the post office or stolen from a property. Thank you for understanding!

 

Where are your products designed and printed?

All of our designs are created here in Texas. Our crib size blankets and some pillows and canvas are also printed in Texas. All of the other product come from other printshops in the US.

What fabric and printing process do you use?

We use the sublimation process. It consists of printing our design on a large dedicated printer using special inks. We then press the image on the fabric (polyester) using a large heat press for about a minute at 400 degrees.

Will the printing fade with washing?

The image will not fade or wash off any product since the colors are now part of the fabric.

What are the care instructions for the blankets or pillows?

The blankets and pillows are 100% polyester for easy wash and care
Machine wash separately in cold water, tumble dry low, with no bleach additives.

How do I choose the best photo?

Almost any photo or flat artwork with good resolution can be made into a photo throw, photo blanket, or photo throw pillow or tote. The best results will come from a photo that is clear and has good contrast.

What "dpi" settings should I use?

Photos should be scanned at 300dpi if possible. While 72dpi is great for the web or email, there is not enough resolution for a quality photo blanket. We will contact you if the resolution is a problem. You can always email us the photo before ordering and we will gladly let you know if it will produce the desired outcome.

How about pictures made with my camera phone?

We will crop your photograph when required or requested. We will crop your photo to focus on the main subject and leave out less important areas. By doing so, you receive a better product. Please do not try to crop your photos, many times we need some headroom or side room on the product. We are happy to handle the cropping for you.

Can my photo be cropped?

Can I get a proof of the product?

Yes, just ask for it at the timer of your order.

Is the site secure?

We are a secure site and use either Stripe or PayPal for credit card processing. We are PCI Compliant and your information is always sent securely and encrypted.

The name of the baby or person is long/short, how do you handle those situations...

Actually, this scenario is quite common. Once we receive your order, we enter the information directly in the design MANUALLY. Since this is a manual process, we can make adjustments in font size, photo placement etc.… to best suit the situation.

Of course, if you choose to receive a proof, you’ll have the choice to approve it or make minor changes.

Can you custom design for print on one of our products?

Yes, we can. Please email us at myfamilykeeps@gmail.com.
Send us as much information as you can: type of product, design style, celebrations, favorite colors, photos etc.


We’ll then get back to you with a cost. If you agree to it, we will send you invoice for payment and we’ll start the design process. It usually takes a couple of days unless you have a lot of changes to make as we will send a proofs for you to approve.
